Doctor to Patient: The Road to Health, Beyond the Second Regimen

Our most recent activity, Doctor to Patient: The Road to Health brought together Healthcare Professionals, Community Activists and Laypersons in the HIV Community. The focus of the evening was education. Participants were able to enjoy three educational lectures. Michael Wool, MD, presented an Update to the XV International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. Anthony Mills, MD addressed the issue of Sexuality and Infectious Disease. Howard Hill presented a stirring Patient’s Perspective. All participants were able to discuss issues and address questions to the speakers directly during the dinner portion of the activity. The evening was highlighted by Mr. Hill’s piano playing, the international cuisine dinner and a fund-raising Casino. Thanks to all of the wonderful participants, we were able to donate thousands of dollars to AIDS Service Organizations throughout Southern California.
